I hired Schoen Contractors to remodel my kitchen in July 2023. My house was built in 1960 and the kitchen was very outdated and in need of other upgrades. I interviewed three local contractors and was told by a fourth that they could not get me in until November. Of the three, Schoen offered the best price, earliest service and, most importantly, a willingness to work with me rather than imposing their ideas (like new cabinets, granite countertops, etc.) on me as the other two did. I refinished the cabinets myself. However, I needed new countertops, sink, faucet, tiled backsplash, vent for stove, and flooring. I also wanted a dishwasher and garbage disposal installed, as well as installing the ice maker for my refrigerator, so hookups for those had to be put in place. I could write a very long review about everything they did and how great it looks but I won't go into specific detail. What I appreciated was what a great job each of the various workers did and how courteous and friendly they were. Bob Schoen called me frequently to update me on progress and when they would next be out to the house. Having worked with another contractor on my bathroom who NEVER contacted me or responded to emails or phone calls, Bob's continued outreach and responsiveness gets a gold star from me. A couple of Bob's workers came out to the house earlier this month to do some upgrades to kitchen electrical outlets and also installed two ceiling fans. Again, they did a wonderful job. I will definitely be calling on them again in the future for my next projects and can recommend them without reservation.

I had Bob and his crew out to my residence for a couple projects over the years. I recently had them out Aug 23, 2023 to put up a shed and install a new front screen door. They came out evaluated the area, suggested I firm up the base where the shed would be going to help it last for years. They built the shed and installed the front door in just 2 days. Mitchell and Neil were a top notch crew checking their work and making sure the construction was going to last for years. Bob reinspected everything made a couple adjustments and double checked to make sure I was satisfied with the finished product. Quality work and Honest prices. I recommend them as a first choice, as I have used them many times over in the last 7 years for a variety of projects.

Called Bob for a rush job. We needed a 1/2 bath. Fast! Start to finish less than 6 weeks. Fast, efficient, clean, friendly! From Neil and Mitchell building the room to Avery and Jesse doing the plumbing, everyone was great. Very happy with regular calls from Bob updating me on their progress. Overall very happy. I hired Bob based on reviews others left before us. I highly recommend Schoen Contractors!
